These are paintings of floral arrangements that I've set up from flowers that I've planted in my garden. Each spring, especially, I love going out to where they are newly emerging and bringing them in to arrange for a painting. I also sometimes leave them where they are, and set up my easel outside to paint. Either way, they're beautiful and a joy to paint.
